Every time I eat at another Taiwanese comfort bento place I am so thankful :') Shoutout to some friends who live in the area for introducing me to Liang's Village! We came in on a weekday for dinner around 5:45pm, and it wasn't busy. The interior is clean and has cute decor, and there is ample seating. One thing I was surprised about was how inclusive their menu was! They have a bunch of vegan options, as well as a page of gluten free items, and some fun-sounding tea drinks. The menu is a scannable QR code, but you order with the server. Service was very friendly and efficient. I ordered the special fried fatty red pork rice bento and it was SO good! It's exactly what it sounds like. I've never had this particular style of fried pork, but it definitely tastes very fatty and greasy, so if you're not as big a fan of that then it might not be the item for you. Personally I wouldn't be able to eat that dish too often because of how greasy it is but I can't deny the elite flavoring. The typical sides (cabbage, egg, pork rice) were all delicious as well. I love a good perfectly balanced bento! I would happily come back and try other bentos or their noodles, as their menu is quite large.

I saw this restaurant featured on an IG post and had to give it a try because I love beef noodle soup. I arrived a little before 12PM so although most tables were filled, there were a few empty ones still. The menu is accessed by a QR code but you still have to order through the server. We ended up getting beef noodle soup (no tendon) and The Works dry noodle, with wide noodles for both. First, the wide noodles were soo good. These were a bit thicker than I've had before but I actually didn't mind it because it wasn't doughy. It had a great chew and picked up the sauce so well. I usually prefer getting wide noodles or knife cut noodles because it makes the dish better for me. The beef noodle soup was one of the better ones I've had. There were big chunks of tender meat and they definitely didn't skimp out on the amount. The broth was sweeter than I like but it's very minor because it does have good flavor. I usually don't go for dry noodles but it looked good on others' Yelp pictures. There's a distinct peanut flavor that mixes well with the yolk of the fried egg and the chili oil. It also has ground pork in it for the protein. Overall, both dishes were satisfying. I wanted to try the you tiao but came too late, since it's only available until 11AM. Staff were busy but attentive. I appreciated that someone walked around frequently in case you needed to flag them down but that they didn't disturb your meal. I wish this place was closer to where I lived!

Loved the food we got here, everything was so yummy! For appetizers, we got the spicy wontons and the beef pancake wrap, both of which I'd give a 5 out of 5. So good! For my main, I got the dry noodle dish called "The Works" which I would also definitely give a 5 out of 5 for. The peanut flavor really helped the dish stand out for me, and in combination with the scallions, mined pork, and egg, it really knocked it out of the park. I'd come back just to order this dish again. I had not really had a similar dish anywhere else, but it was so good! We also had no issues with service at all. Someone at my table ordered the in-house made soy milk, and to be honest, we didn't like it at first. Although we weren't able to swap it for a different drink after we drank a little of it, they did offer to add sweetener to it for us, and that made it a lot better! (Maybe our fault for not realizing a soy drink would taste so inherently tofu-y lol) Regardless I appreciated that they helped us out.

This is a go-to place for a lot of my friends because it's delicious and has seating for small or larger groups. Maybe not too big because the tables aren't too big but they might be able to put them together. My friends like noodles but I don't like it as much and Liang's is more so known for their noodle dishes BUT they aren't lacking in their rice dishes either. I got the fish rice dish and it was so yummy. There was a variety of flavors from the side veggies and egg. I love the pickled stuff it came with. The service was so good and everyone was so nice and organized.

My friend and I went to eat at Liang's Noodle. The parking can be full during the evenings, but going inside the restaurant was no problem. It is within walking distance to Juniper Hotel and De Anza College. The menu has a good selection of noodles. It was easy to find a seat, although it wasn't super welcoming. It's more of the fact that you need to figure out how to order on your own. It is really clean. I ordered the dry beef noodle. You can select on having thick noodles, and the sauce is to die for. Expect the noodles to range between $18-$26. I think it's worth it for the pricing in Cupertino. I would come back here again to try the other noodles. It is really delicious!

We came here after seeing a long line for Liang's Village at an event and decided to visit the actual restaurant instead. I've wanted to come here for a while. The interior is simple and casual, with frozen items, sauces, and other products available for purchase on the side. We were seated promptly, although we had to wait a bit for someone to take our order. We ordered the crispy egg tofu medallion, Taiwanese fried chicken cutlet, and The Works. The table had some chili oils and their signature sauce, which we tried on the food. We enjoyed the signature sauce more, as the chili oils were pretty similar to each other and to other chili oils we've had before. * Crispy egg tofu medallion (4.5/5): this really surprised me. I didn't expect to like it as much as I did. It had silky tofu with a "crust" (which I think was the egg) and a nice thin mayo sauce. The only improvement I'd suggest is maybe a slightly more flavorful sauce. * Chicken cutlet (4.5/5): it was exactly what I was looking for--nicely fried, crispy, and decently juicy with enough seasoning to stand on its own. My boyfriend thought it was a little too oily, but I didn't notice that as much. I would have liked the chicken to be a bit thicker and juicier. * The Works (4/5): this scratched my itch for hand-pulled noodles, although the noodles were firmer than I would have liked. The egg wasn't very relevant to the dish, but the sauce with the ground pork was pretty decent. Overall, the food here was really good, satisfying my craving for Taiwanese food, and I would definitely come back again!

The best service I've had in a long time My friends and I first ordered: - preserved egg and tofu with pork floss appetizer: refreshingly umami to start with - cucumber salad: a classic zing to offset the heartiness of the rest of our dishes - dry all beef (wide) noodles: tender beef and slurpable just-made noodles (don't get the sauce all over your shirt like me) - garlic rice with chicken fat: I was dubious about the chicken fat in my friends choice but holy cow this melted on your tongue! This wasn't quite enough food for the four of us so we went to order more garlic chicken rice, another beef noodle, and the pork belly pancake wrap. The man taking our order gently asked (paraphrased) "Can I give you a recommendation? I don't want people ordering the same thing again and limiting their options, would you be open to getting The Works noodles? The sauce will be a great dipping option for the pork belly pancake". And I sure do take recommendations if someone feels that strongly. And I'm so glad we did! The sauce of the works was flavorful beyond works, and was an apt accompaniment to the pork pancake (which while yummy, was a bit dry). Towards the end of the meal, the same man asked if the pinapple drink I had ordered was too sweet for me. The pineapple and salted cream, while good on its own, ended up being a bad flavor combo with the dishes we ordered, so the man said he would get me a complimentary drink that he knew I would like. It ended up being a peach tea with fresh fruit and mint, with flavor so clear it was like biting into the peach itself. The man also gave me the tip that if I had any leftover I should take it home and add some bourbon It's been a long time since I've visited a restaurant where the service staff (potentially owner?) cared so much about the food they were serving they wanted each guest to have their own unique experience with the cuisine. Like a family Logistics: - no reservations, it was empty at 5:30 but packed by 6:45pm - indoor seating only - plenty strip mall parking but spots are compact - they have a vegan and GF highlighted part of the menu but mostly light bites

We were looking for some comfort food last night and Reddit lead us to Cupertino's Liang's Village. It had an open kitchen concept and it's always fun to watch what goes on inside. Owner Austin came to chat and recommend some dishes. He is very, very friendly esp after knowing we're visiting and that our son and his friend are staying here for work. The 五花肉捲餅 Pork Belly Pancake Wrap is to be had! Austin was right, it tasted better than the beef version. It was the winner of the night. Although the 紅油抄手Spicy Red Oil Mini Wonton had less meat inside, there was a good bite to it. 乾拌牛肉類 Dry Beef Noodle is a thumbs up ! 紅燒半筋半肉麵 Beef and Tendon Noodle Soup is a must-have in Taiwanese cuisine! Flavor and umami is perfect but beef shank and tendon chunks could be more tender. 台式炸排骨飯便當 Fried Pork Chop Rice could use a bit more salt and less batter! I'd come back for sure. It satisfies the tummy's cravings. BTW, they have developed frozen 牛肉麵 Beef Noodle Soup in a bag! Also, a freezer full of appetizers and dumplings for take home quick meals.
